RA. Soft LTD — legal
Pro-Load privacy policy
Last updated 19 August 2026
Applies to: the Pro-Load mobile application for iOS, watchOS and Android (package name com.rasoft.proload). This policy covers the app only. The rasoft.uk website has its own separate policy.
Short version
Pro-Load keeps your data on your device.
- We do not run a server for Pro-Load. Your workouts, body measurements, goals, nutrition entries and injury notes never reach us. The one way anything leaves the app is if you deliberately copy or share a report yourself — see section 7a.
- There is no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash-reporting SDK and no third-party tracker in the app.
- We do not sell, rent, share or trade your data. There is nothing for us to sell: we never receive it.
- The Android build does not even hold the
INTERNETpermission, so it is technically unable to send anything anywhere. - On iOS, the app can write your finished workouts into Apple Health, and Apple Watch can read your heart rate during a workout to show it to you live. That data stays inside Apple's system on your own device.
Everything below explains this in detail, because your health data deserves a proper explanation.
1. Who we are
Data controller: RA. SOFT LTD
Registered address: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom
Contact for privacy questions: info@rasoft.uk
Website: https://rasoft.uk
RA. SOFT LTD is a company registered in the United Kingdom, so this policy is written to meet the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Because Pro-Load is offered in Türkiye, Turkish Law No. 6698 (KVKK) applies alongside the UK rules; section 9 explains how.
We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer and are not required to appoint one: we are not a public authority, our core activities do not consist of regular and systematic monitoring of people on a large scale, and we do not process special category data on a large scale — the three thresholds in Article 37 of the UK GDPR. Privacy questions go to info@rasoft.uk and are answered by the company.
2. What data exists in the app
You can enter the following into Pro-Load:
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Workout records | exercise, weight, reps, sets, duration, rest time, notes |
| Body measurements | body weight, body-fat percentage, free-text notes |
| Goals | target weight, target lift numbers, planned frequency |
| Nutrition records | meals and calorie/macro entries you type in |
| Injury notes | free text you write about an injury or limitation |
| App settings | units, language, theme, rest-timer preferences |
| Student records (coach mode) | if you use Pro-Load to coach other people: their name, body weight, injury notes and training sessions |
| Apple account details (iOS only, optional) | the user identifier Apple returns, plus the name and email address Apple provides on first sign-in — stored on your device only |
All of it is written to a local database on your device (SwiftData on iOS, Room on Android). It is not copied to us, and we have no technical way of reaching it.
Health data. Body weight, body-fat percentage, heart rate and injury notes are health data — "special category" data under Article 9 of the UK GDPR. We treat them accordingly: they stay on your device, under your control, and we never receive them.
If you coach other people. Pro-Load includes a coach mode in which you can keep records for the people you train. Those records live on your device exactly like your own, and we never receive them either. But they are somebody else's personal data — and their body weight and injury notes are their health data. When you enter another person's details you become responsible for them under data protection law, not us. Please tell the people you train that you are keeping these records, get their agreement first, record only what you actually need, and delete their entry when you stop working together. If one of them asks you what you hold about them, you can show them their record in the app.
3. What we collect
Nothing.
We do not collect, receive, transmit or store any personal data from the Pro-Load app on any system operated by us. We have no user database and no backend for this app.
This matches our Google Play Data Safety declaration ("no data collected, no data shared") and our iOS privacy manifest (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy), where the list of collected data types is empty.
The only way we ever see your information is if you choose to email us at info@rasoft.uk. Then we hold your email address and whatever you wrote in the message — see section 9.
4. Android specifics
The Android build of Pro-Load declares these permissions and no others:
POST_NOTIFICATIONS— to show your rest-timer notification.VIBRATE— to buzz when a rest timer ends.WAKE_LOCK— to keep the screen awake while you are training.
The INTERNET permission is not declared, and the app contains no HTTP client of any kind. An Android app without that permission cannot open a network connection: the operating system blocks it. This is not a promise about our intentions, it is an enforced limit you can verify in the app manifest.
There is no account and no sign-in on Android. There is no Health Connect integration. Because there is no sign-in on Android, there is no account and nothing to delete beyond uninstalling the app.
5. iOS and Apple Watch specifics
5.1 Apple Health (HealthKit)
If you allow it, Pro-Load:
- Writes your completed workouts to Apple Health: workout type, duration and active energy burned.
- Reads, on Apple Watch only:
- your heart rate and active energy while a workout is running, so the watch can show them to you live during the set;
- your most recent resting heart rate, read once when a workout starts. The watch measures this on its own and stores it in Apple Health; Pro-Load reads that single latest value to work out your heart-rate reserve, which is what the training-zone display is based on. Without it there are no zones.
On iPhone we read nothing from Apple Health. We do not read steps, sleep, weight history, or any other record on either device. Nothing read from Apple Health is included in the AI report described in section 7a, and none of it leaves your device.
HealthKit data is stored by Apple on your device. Health data never leaves your device through Pro-Load, and it is never used for advertising, marketing, profiling or any purpose other than showing you your own training — as Apple's rules require.
You grant or refuse this access in the iOS permission prompt, and you can change it at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Pro-Load. Refusing it does not lock you out; the app works without HealthKit, you just lose the live heart-rate display, the training zones and the Health export.
Important: workouts we have already written into Apple Health belong to your Health app, not to Pro-Load. If you delete Pro-Load, those entries stay in Apple Health until you delete them there.
5.2 Sign in with Apple
Sign in with Apple is available on iOS and is entirely optional. The whole app works without signing in — no feature is locked behind it.
- The sign-in exchange happens between your device and Apple, through Apple's own system component. We do not operate a server, so no account of yours is created anywhere on our side.
- When you sign in, Apple gives the app a stable user identifier and, on the first sign-in only, your name and an email address. All three are written to your device's own app storage and stay there. They are never transmitted, because there is nowhere to transmit them to.
- If you use Apple's "Hide My Email" option, the address the app receives is Apple's relay address, not your real one. Either way the address never leaves your device.
- Signing out erases the identifier, the name and the address from the device immediately. It does not delete your training data — see below.
- Signing out does not delete your local data. Your workouts and measurements stay on the device. To erase them, use section 8.
- You can revoke the connection at any time in Settings → [your name] → Sign in with Apple → Pro-Load.
There is no account to delete. Sign in with Apple does not create an account with us — we operate no server and hold no user record, so there is nothing on our side that could be deleted. Signing out is the equivalent: it erases the Apple identifier, name and email address from your device straight away. It deliberately does not touch your training history, because losing years of logged sessions by tapping a sign-out button would be unrecoverable. To erase the training data as well, see section 8. You can also revoke the app entirely from Settings → [your name] → Sign in with Apple → Pro-Load.
6. Device backups
If your operating system's own backup is switched on, Pro-Load's local database is included in it:
- Android — Google's device backup is on by default. Unless you have turned it off, your Pro-Load database, including your body measurements and injury notes, is backed up to your own Google account.
- iOS — iCloud Backup or an encrypted computer backup includes the app's data if you have that backup enabled.
That backup is made and held by Apple or Google under their privacy policies and their encryption, on storage that belongs to your account. It is not our backup, we do not have access to it, and we are not given a copy. If you would rather your training data was not backed up that way, turn the backup off for Pro-Load in your device settings.
7. Third parties
Pro-Load contains no third-party analytics, advertising, attribution or crash-reporting SDKs. No data is shared with any third party by the app.
Two companies are still involved in the ordinary way, independently of us:
- Apple — distributes the app through the App Store, provides HealthKit, Sign in with Apple and iCloud. Apple may collect download, purchase and (if you opted in) diagnostic information under Apple's privacy policy. We only ever see aggregate, anonymous App Store Connect statistics — never anything identifying you.
- Google — distributes the Android app through Google Play. Google may collect download and purchase information under Google's privacy policy. We only see aggregate Play Console statistics.
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not build profiles, and we do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
7a. Sharing with an AI assistant (iOS only, you initiate it)
Pro-Load can prepare a text report of your training data — and, if you turn that option on, your age, height and gender — so that you can paste it into an AI assistant of your own choosing. Nothing happens automatically:
- You open the AI export screen, choose the date range, and decide whether to include your profile details.
- The full text is shown on screen before you copy it. You can read exactly what would leave the app.
- You then copy it to the clipboard, or share it as a .txt file through the iOS share sheet.
The app does not send this text anywhere. It has no network connection and no AI service of its own. The transfer is performed by you, in another app.
Once you paste that text into a third-party AI service, that service's own privacy policy governs it — not this one. Those services may retain your prompts and may use them to train their models. Your training data and body measurements are health data, so please look at that service's policy before you paste. If you would rather not share profile details, turn off the "age, height and gender" option; the report then contains only training data and body weight.
The reverse direction — importing the AI's answer back — happens by you pasting text into Pro-Load, or picking a file. Nothing is fetched from the internet.
This feature is not available in the Android build.
8. Retention and deletion
Your data stays on your device until you remove it. We hold nothing, so there is nothing for us to keep or to delete on your behalf.
- Delete individual entries — any workout, measurement, goal, nutrition entry or note can be deleted inside the app.
- Delete everything — uninstalling Pro-Load removes the app's local database from your device.
- Apple Health — workouts already exported to Apple Health remain there after uninstalling. Delete them in the Health app.
- Device backups — if a backup was made before you deleted the app, the data may still exist in that backup until it is overwritten or removed. Manage it in your iCloud or Google account settings.
We cannot recover data you delete. There is no copy on any system of ours. Deleted data cannot be recovered and no copy exists anywhere else, so please export or otherwise preserve anything you want to keep before uninstalling.
9. Legal bases
For everything you enter into the app, we are not a data controller. The data is created on your device, stays on your device, and we never receive a copy or have any means of reaching it. There is therefore no processing by us for which a lawful basis under Article 6 or Article 9 would be needed. You alone decide what is stored and for how long.
The permissions the app asks for are consents you give to your device's operating system, not to us:
| What happens | Who is responsible | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Your entries stored in the app's own storage on your device | You | No processing by us |
| Health data written to, or read from, Apple Health on iOS | You, via Apple | The explicit consent you give in the iOS Health permission prompt — Art. 9(2)(a) UK GDPR / açık rıza under KVKK Art. 6 — withdrawable at any time in device settings |
| A support email you choose to send us | RA. SOFT LTD | Art. 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in replying to you |
If a supervisory authority were to take the view that supplying the app makes us a controller for the on-device data, the basis we would rely on is Art. 6(1)(b) — performing the contract for the app you asked for — together with your explicit consent under Art. 9(2)(a) for the health data. We set this out for completeness, not because we receive any of it.
Withdrawing consent is easy: revoke the Health permission in device settings, or delete the data in the app. Withdrawal does not affect anything done before you withdrew.
Because no personal data is transferred to us, there is no international transfer of your app data and no transfer mechanism is required. Any support email you send us is received in the United Kingdom.
Users in Türkiye. Pro-Load is offered in Türkiye and in Turkish. Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) therefore also applies to you. Under that law your body weight, body-fat percentage, heart rate and injury notes are "special categories of personal data" (özel nitelikli kişisel veri) under Article 6, which may only be processed with your explicit consent (açık rıza). Because none of that data is transmitted to us and it remains on your own device under your sole control, we do not process it and no consent is collected by us; the only consent involved is the one you give to Apple's system when you allow Health access. Article 9 (transfer abroad) is not engaged for your app data for the same reason: nothing is transferred anywhere.
10. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Under KVKK Article 11 you have the equivalent rights as an ilgili kişi (data subject).
For data inside the app you exercise these rights directly and immediately: view it, edit it, or delete it in the app, without asking us. That is faster than any request we could process — and we could not act on such a request in any event: we hold none of your data and cannot identify you from it, which is the situation Article 11 of the UK GDPR describes.
For anything you have sent us by email, write to info@rasoft.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you believe we have handled your data improperly you can complain to a supervisory authority:
- in Türkiye, to the Personal Data Protection Authority (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu — KVKK), https://www.kvkk.gov.tr;
- in the United Kingdom, to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF, https://ico.org.uk;
- elsewhere, to your local supervisory authority.
11. Security
Your data is protected by the security of your own device: the iOS and Android app sandbox, file-system encryption, and your passcode, Face ID, Touch ID or fingerprint.
Because nothing is transmitted, there is no server to breach, no database of users to leak and no credentials in transit to intercept.
We recommend you set a device passcode and enable encrypted backups. If your device is unlocked and in someone else's hands, they can open Pro-Load and read your training data — that is a device-level risk we cannot control.
12. Children
Pro-Load is intended for people aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly hold data about them — although, as explained throughout this policy, we do not receive any user's data at all.
If you are a parent or guardian and you believe a child under 13 is using Pro-Load, the data is on that child's device: open the app and delete it there, or uninstall the app. There is no request to send us, because there is nothing for us to delete.
13. Not medical advice
Pro-Load is a training log, not a medical device and not a healthcare service. The numbers, estimates and suggestions it shows are informational. Consult a doctor or qualified professional before starting a training programme, and especially before training around an injury.
Strength training under load carries physical risk, and more so for growing bodies. If you are under 18, train under the supervision of a responsible adult and, where possible, a qualified coach.
14. Features that do not exist yet
We are transparent about our plans, and equally clear that none of this is in the app today:
- Coach-to-athlete synchronisation over a cloud backend. Coach mode itself already exists and works entirely on your own device; what does not exist is any synchronisation between a coach's device and an athlete's device.
- AI calorie estimation from a photo
- An AI coaching assistant and monthly review reports
- A marketplace for coaches
If and when any of these ship, they will involve sending data off your device. We will update this policy before that happens, describe exactly what is sent and to whom, and ask for your explicit consent first. Nothing will start leaving your device silently as part of an app update.
15. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date below and publish the new version at the same address. Material changes — anything that changes what leaves your device — will additionally be announced inside the app before they take effect.
