Privacy notice

This is the baseline privacy notice for the RA. Soft website (rasoft.uk). It describes what personal data RA. Soft LTD collects through the site, what we use it for, and how to contact us about it. It is written to be readable, not to substitute for full legal advice.

Who we are

RA. Soft LTD ("RA. Soft", "we") is a UK-registered company at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom. You can reach us at info@rasoft.uk. RA. Soft is the data controller for personal data collected via this site.

What we collect

• Enquiry form: name, email address, project type, message contents. You provide these when you submit the form on the contact section.
• Direct email: if you email us directly we receive your email address and message contents.
• Analytics: we use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand aggregate site usage. See the cookies notice for details.

What we use it for

• Replying to your enquiry and discussing potential work.
• Negotiating, agreeing and performing a contract if we go on to work together.
• Understanding how the site is used, in aggregate, so we can improve it.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with marketing networks. We do not add you to a mailing list.

Lawful basis

Replying to a direct enquiry is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us. Any contracted work is processed on the basis of contractual necessity. Analytics is processed on the basis of legitimate interest in operating and improving the site.

How long we keep it

Enquiry messages are kept for as long as is reasonable to follow up on the conversation, and then deleted. Where work proceeds, records relating to that engagement are kept for the period required by UK tax and contract law. You can ask us to delete your data sooner; see below.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, port and object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email info@rasoft.uk. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Third parties

The site is hosted on Vercel. Email delivery for the contact form is handled by Resend. Direct email goes through Zoho Mail. These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the service.

We may update this notice. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
